Ice Wizard VS Fire Wizard

The debate has been going on for centuries(A few months)! Time to put it to rest. The Ice Wizard VS The Fire Wizard!

Both cards have similar yet different uses. Both have splash damage and look amazing. So which is better. *Note these are compared at tournament standard.

The Ice Wizard(Lv 1):

• An Ice Wizard card costs 3 Elixir to deploy.

unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5).

• The Ice Wizard's attacks will slow his targets' movement and attack speed by 35%.

• Hitpoints: 665

• Area Damage: 63

• Damage Per Second: 42

The Fire Wizard(Lv 7)

• A Wizard card costs 5 Elixir to deploy

• unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5)

• Hitpoints: 598

• Area Damage: 228

• Damage Per Second: 142

Comparison

As shown above the Fire Wizard has high damage and lower HP, he can be a very effective card when paired up with a tank such as P.E.K.K.A unfortunately the Fire Wizard is quite expensive and so its more dangerous and risky to deploy. However the Ice Wizard is a different story, with far lower area damage and elixir cost it might seem like a cheaper less effective version of the Fire Wizard, however it has an unusual effect that probably makes it one of the best cards in game. While it cannot kill a Fire Wizard in battle(it just gets melted) it can slow everything down. It has a movement and attack speed decrease by 35%. This effect can be great on defense and offense. One of the combinations I use with this card is the P.E.K.K.A Ice Wizard combo. This is a effective strategy and can really help spice up your game.

We believe that the Ice Wizard is much greater than the Fire Wizard due to​ the fact that it can slow down the opponent and as long as we have no Ice Wizard vs Ice Wizard battles(the slowest fight in game) I think we will be fine :).
